This was a photowalk to explore some of the locations featured in the TV show and books; Slow Horses (written my Nick Herron). I joined a group of about twenty people to explore an area centred around one of my favoutite places in London, the Barbican. I took my ‘new’ Pentax Auto 110 and some Tiger colour film for this mooch, and, as you can see, I’m still getting used to the focus! The weather wasnt kind, but I really enjoyed the walk!
Slough House itself! 126 Aldersgate Street. The little grill to the right is actually used as the front of Lamb’s favourite chinese restaurant. Its actually available to lease if you want it…

The famous steps, located a few minutes walk away on St John’s Street, shot through some railings. This site is used frequently in the show.

This is one of Lamb’s best greasy spoon locations – sadly as a Sunday it was closed but I shall return and send you some pics of the interior – one of the few interior’s used for filming as most are shot on a set.

I loved the colours and vintage feel of the launderette – used for meetings between Lamb and the head of the Dogs.

The housing estate behind the Barbican used for Roddy Ho’s dance to work

And the site of a failed attempt at a suspect capture!

And finally to Blake’s grave (which isnt Blakes grave – there are actually two in the grave yard – neither of which is this one.) Used for meetings of the Slough House team after hours….

Really enjoyed this purposeful walk through the incredible quiet streets on this rain Sunday morning!
